Asylum – Madeleine Roux.

The initial idea for Asylum was intriguing and generally hooked me into buying it. I have read other reviews that said the dialogue in the book was too false. I have to agree in places the dialogue between the characters did not seem real it also went on for large portions of the book. The story had a great amount of promise and I generally liked the characters. There simply was just not enough storyline and horror aspects to keep me turning the pages. I can’t say I didn’t like the book because there were aspects that were brilliant however, there was not enough of these to make me rush out and buy the next in the series. I may get round to reading it later but am certainly in no rush to finish the series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
