A Mother’s Love – Microfiction

I was sitting drinking some sugary drink when Mother appeared.  Taking a deep breath she started her normal drone about how I needed to get out more. How I needed to work more and pull my weight like my brother and sister.

She had worked many hours setting our home up now it was time for us to help provide whilst she relaxed. Every day the same shit and no thank you for the work I put in.

After listening to her buzz on my ear for a couple of minutes I got up to go out. Anything was better than staying here and listening to this. I collected my stuff and took off.

Another day providing for the queen bee as a worker bee. How I pray for a better life.
