There is a tendency for writers to get comfortable with writing on one platform. As the saying goes never put all your eggs in one basket. It has become clear over the last couple of months that Medium does not have the authority it once had. I don't say this lightly, as I have always supported Medium. You can no ignore however how low the reads and engagement now is.
